Dr. Rexford Attah-Boakye

Biography

Dr Attah-Boakye is anaccomplished individual with an extensive background in academia and industry.He held the position of Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University ofNottingham Business School and is recognized as a Senior Fellow of the HigherEducation Academy (SFHEA). He is also a Fellow of the Institute of CharteredAccountants (FCCA), a Certified Quantitative Risk Expert (CQRM), and anAssociate Member of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (ACICM).In addition, Dr Attah-Boakyeholds PhD in Accounting, an MBA in Financial Management, and an MSc inInformation Technology, B. Com (Hons), postgraduate diploma in research and QTSin mathematics. His research expertise lies in various fields, such as auditing,corporate governance and reporting, taxation, quantitative risk management,environmental accounting, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.Previously, Dr Attah-Boakyeserved as the Faculty Director of the Degree Apprenticeship Program at theUniversity of Hull (FBPL). He also has significant industry experience, havingworked as a Director of Internal Audit in a bank and fulfilled various accountingroles in both the private and public sectors.His research interests primarilyrevolve around environmental accounting and accountability, corporategovernance, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cybersecurity. Hiscontributions have been recognized in several internationally ranked peer-reviewedjournals, including the British Journal of Management, Journal of BusinessResearch, International Journal of Finance & Economics, European Journal ofFinance, and Technological Forecasting, among others.
