Biography
Appointed as a 50th Anniversary Chair in 2017 to work within the Faculty of Health and build on clinical - academic education and research strategies. As one of the few joint appointments at a professorial level, the role is shared with her ongoing clinical, research and leadership commitment at consultant AHP level at The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.Having been at the forefront of radiographer role development for over the last 2 decades this role provides an opportunity to utilise contemporary clinical knowledge alongside applied research skills. She leads the postgraduate radiographer advanced practice programme alongside Prof Maryann Hardy, bringing her experience in radiographer reporting to the academic setting.Experience in strategic healthcare leadership means that her research spans a broad portfolio including service redesign, advanced role utilisation and evidence based practice.
