Chemistry Taster Day
Location: Richmond building, University of Bradford
Date and Time:
Wed 18 Apr 2018, 12:30 - 16:00
For BSc (Hons) Chemistry.
Discover nanomaterials and find out more about their applications from cancer therapy and bacteria detection, to data storage and stealth jets.
Nanoparticles are of great interest as they bridge the gap between atoms, molecules and bulk material. Size dependent properties such as surface plasmon resonances and superparamagnetism find application in a range of advanced technologies.
You will have the opportunity to synthesise your own nanoparticles and talk to our academics about their research.
