Teaching and Supervisory Responsibilities
Teach all Neonatal content of child nursing. Clinical skills.
Studied at the University of Bradford from 1998-2001, receiving my Hons Degree in Children's Nursing.
Once qualified i completed the qualification in the specialty of Neonatal Care at Leeds University in 2003. I commenced my Masters in 2011 completing two modules, but still to complete.
I have worked at the Neonatal Unit At Bradford Teaching Hospital Foundation Trust since qualifying in 2001. I have worked within the unit under several different roles.
I have worked within the education team and now moved into a Senior Sister position managing the neonatal unit in both clinical and administrative areas.
I am currently in the process of implementing phototherapy in the home setting for a the well premature infant from both the neonatal unit and transitional care.
