Expertise: Dementia, health and social care

The Centre for Applied Dementia Studies is concerned with educating and training the health professionals of the future, along with undertaking landmark research, funded by national bodies such as the Medical Research Council and the Department of Health. 

Its Doctoral Training Centre aims to improve all those affected by dementia and has been developing the next generation of applied dementia researchers. 

Dr Reilly's research is primarily concerned with improving the evidence base for the delivery of health and social care services for people with dementia, older people with long term conditions and people with severe mental illness. 

Her work includes the policy, practice, organisation and delivery of health and social care services, particularly in relation to the integration and coordination of services.
