The Re:centre inspires and supports the design and redesign of products, services and infrastructure to deliver radical new business solutions that are better for the environment . It offers coaching and mentoring and business units and hot desk facilities to current and ex-students as well as other existing and new business clients on a wide range of ventures and business activities.
The Re:centre is based in the Bright Building on City Campus, a building designed to provide maximum flexibility and adaptability and to create an environment to promote and inspire enterprise and entrepreneurship.
The Digital Health Enterprise Zone (DHEZ) programme is a £13 million partnership led by the University of Bradford and backed by investment from BT, City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council and the UK government. It aims to make a significant contribution in reducing the predicted NHS £30 billion funding gap by helping get great digital health ideas off the ground and out to market. In April 2016 it opened a high-tech business incubation facility for organisations innovating in technology-led health products in Little Germany in the Centre of Bradford, called the Digital Exchange.
